    Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge is a pet-friendly recreation area in Malta, MT. You and Fido can drive the refuge's auto tour route, hike the trails, view wildlife and more. Dogs must be leashed from April 15 to August 15 on the entire refuge, and from September 1 through November 30 in the East Unit where walking is only allowed on the Auto Tour Route.
