Pet Friendly Frank Brown Park and Dog Park
Frank Brown Park and Dog Park Leashed dogs are welcome throughout Frank Brown Park, which features an onsite dog park for off-leash playtime. The dog park features large dog and small dog fenced areas, benches, and water and cleanup stations. The dog park is located at the back left section of the park. Leashed dogs are also welcome to explore its greenways and trails. During sporting events, dog owners are asked to stand along the back of the fields, outside of the fence, as pets are not allowed inside the complex when games are in progress. Dogs are allowed elsewhere in the Park when games are in progress. Frank Brown Park is open seven days a week from 8am to 6pm. See Details
Conservation Park Conservation Park offers 24 miles of trails and over a mile of boardwalks on 2900 acres, perfect for hikers, bikers, and nature lovers. Trails range from less than one mile up to 11 miles, and there are 12 trails to choose from. Parking, picnic tables, and restrooms are available at the trail head. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Humans should always clean up after their canine companions. See Details

Captain Lorraine is a knowledgeable naturalist who has spent time studying the area's wildlife and is an expert on the local waters. They supply sunscreen, bug spray, wildlife ID books, mask, snorkel, fins, life jackets, refreshments, a light meal on longer tours lasting 5 hours or more, wildlife viewing nets, binoculars, music of your choice, and the most comfortable seating.

The boat is a 2013 Carolina skiff DLV built specifically for these tours. They are located in Bay Point Marina, the closest marina to shell island and the areas where the dolphins are most often seen. For this reason, they can guarantee dolphin sightings on exclusive dolphin tours that are 2 hours or longer. We also have high-quality underwater cameras for rent for some stunning wildlife photography. Your captain can also be your photographer. B.Y.O.B. and pets are allowed. Camp Helen State Park Camp Helen State Park is dog-friendly! Well-behaved dogs are allowed at Camp Helen State Park, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Pet owners are required to pick up after their pets and properly dispose of their droppings. Pets are not permitted on the beaches or playgrounds, or in bathing areas, cabins, park buildings or concession facilities. Camp Helen is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico on three sides, and by Lake Powell, one of the largest coastal dune lakes in Florida. Prehistoric middens and mounds indicate that humans inhabited the area more than 4,000 years ago. From 1945 until 1987 Camp Helen was a company resort for the employees of an Alabama textile mill. Some of those buildings have now been restored. The 180-acre park is for day use only. Activities include swimming, beachcombing, nature study, hiking and both freshwater and saltwater fishing. The park is situated next to a lake, an idyllic location for Fido to socialize and expend some energy.
