With nearly 120 km of trails nestled in the pristine and private Ranch Creek valley at the base of the Continental Divide, Devil's Thumb Ranch is the premier Nordic center for Colorado and North American cross-country skiing. Novices can start the day with a private or group lesson from a friendly instructor. For skijoring, you must bring your own pet, as they don’t have any to adopt for the day. They recommend your dog is in good shape and at least 35 pounds for their own safety. Smaller pups are still welcome to enjoy our dog-friendly trails on a leash.
