Pet Friendly Veterans Memorial Park
Veterans Memorial Park This 333 acre park was built in honor of Hamilton's veterans in 1977. Approximately four miles of walking trails are sprinkled through wooded areas, and there are more than two miles of paved bicycle trails, intermittent picnic grounds, rest stops, athletic fields, a large lake, huge tennis complex and a dog park. The dog park has a well maintained, fenced-in, off-leash play area. There is a separate enclosure for large and small dogs with double-entry gates. Both areas offer agility equipment and obstacle courses, benches, poop bags and trash receptacles. A doggie water fountain is just outside the dog park entrance. Working Dog Winery Working Dog Winery is a popular tasting room in central NJ. They welcome dogs outside between November 15th and March 15th every year. Dozens of customers bring their dogs with them during the weekends of these dates to enjoy the vast grounds and spend quality time with their four-legged friends.
