Pet Friendly Suomenlinna
Suomenlinna Suomenlinna is pet friendly! The Finnish maritime fortress is over 260 years old, making it a great visit for lovers of world history. Visit the Great Courtyard, designed by Augustin Ehrensvärd, the Docks, an operational dry dock used to conserve history related to old sailing ships, or the King's gate, the site where King Adolf Frederick of Sweden anchored while inspecting the city in 1752. You and Fido can take the Helsinki City Transport ferry to Suomenlinna all throughout the year and the trip is only about 15 minutes. There is no entrance fee to the fortress, but individual museums and exhibits may charge for admission. Dogs must be kept on a leash and not be allowed near children's playgrounds or on beaches in accordance with Helsinki Law. Owners are asked not to allow Fidos to disturb natural flora and wildlife on the grounds. See Details
