Don’t leave Fido in the hotel room when you’re on vacation. Get out and play! No matter where you’re headed in France, we can point you towards the nearest off-leash dog park, the most popular dog beach, a really great hiking trail, and lots of other places to play with Fido.

Pet Friendly La Croix Valmer
La Croix Valmer La Croix Valmer is pet-friendly. This beautiful beach allows leashed dogs right up until the first of October. Look out for the signs that indicate the areas of the beach that allow dogs to hang out with their owners. See Details
Pet Friendly Vallée de l'Eure
Vallée de l'Eure A river valley where dogs can run free in total security with no risk from traffic as it is set way back from any road. River to swim in, open grassy spaces, woods to walk in, cliff path to climb, bushes to sniff around. Lots of lovely things for dogs to do. You can join up with several hiking trails here and make a day out of it. It's the place local people take to walk their dogs, a paradise for dogs and even some roman remains to look at as well!

Take the Bagnols sur Ceze road out of Uzes and turn sharp right at the bottom of the hill or walk down the steps (quite a lot of them) from the town.

Dog Area at Parc de l'Orangerie Dog Area at Parc de l'Orangerie is a pet-friendly recreation area. This spacious, colorful park dates back to the 17th century. The paved walkways around the park allow you to stroll around and enjoy the verdant spaces, ponds, and fountains. There's a fenced dog park where dogs can be let off-leash, too. Dogs must be on a leash everywhere else in the park. See Details

Bois de Boulogne Bois de Boulogne is pet-friendly. Dogs are welcome to walk off leash-free through the wooded trails that lead to creeks, stunning views of the Seine and a swimming lake that your pooch can dive into on hot days. There are even sections of the park that offer a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. Due to other animals and park users, only dogs under voice control should be allowed off-leash. See Details
Parc Docteur Jean Guillaud Parc Docteur Jean Guillard is dog-friendly. This 226 square-meter-park offers visitors stunning views over the city of Nice. Dogs are free to run around unleashed in the fenced-in park. Guests must pick up after their pet, and there's a pet station with waste bags and a trash can. The park is open every day of the week from 9am to 7pm. See Details
Parc Des Cedres Parc Des Cedres is dog-friendly. This large park in Toulon is around 7000 square-meters and includes a playground and an area for lawn bowling, although Fido isn't permitted on this area. Leashed pups can join their owners around the pathways and on the rest of the green space in the park. The park is open every day of the week, throughout the day. See Details
Parc de Bercy Parc de Bercy is pet-friendly. This multi-purpose space invites dogs and their owners to enjoy the open area in the park. There are amusement rides, a skate park, ping-pong tables, public restrooms, wifi, and space for games dotted around the area. Leashed pups are allowed to join their owners in the park, as long as they are under control and all mess is cleaned up after them. Parc de Bercy is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 8:30pm and Saturday to Sunday from 9:00am to 8:30pm. See Details
Parc de la Tête d'Or Parc de la Tête d'Or is pet-friendly. This vast park is filled with statues and fountains to wander around with your pooch. The centerpiece of the park is a pretty lake. Within the park, there's a designated dog zone. The space is separated into two areas - one for small dogs and puppies, and one for larger dogs. Owners are asked to please keep their dogs on a leash. Your pooch can get a drink at the provided water fountains. The park is open every day of the week from 6:30am to 10:30pm. See Details
Dog Park at Jardin Compans Caffarelli Dogs can be let off leash at the fenced-in dog park located in the Jardin Compans-Caffarelli. This pet-friendly recreation area is a great place to hang out with your pooch in Toulouse. The park is open every day from 7:45am and closes between 6:00pm and 9:00pm depending on the season. Joseph Pisano Garden Joseph Pisano Garden is a dog park in Nice, France. This 191 square meter park allowed dogs to run free in a fenced-in area. Guests must pick up after their pet, using the pet station with waste bags and a trash can that's provided. See Details
Trocadéro Gardens Trocadéro Gardens is pet-friendly. Bring your leashed pooch on the pathways that wind through one of the most iconic spots in the whole of France. The gardens are located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, bounded to the northwest by the wings of the Palais de Chaillot and to the southeast by the Seine and the Pont d'Iéna, with the Eiffel Tower on the opposite bank of the Seine. It's a great place to grab a pic with your pooch away from the bustling crowds in front of the Eiffel Tower. The gardens are always open. Parc Bordelais Parc Bordelais is a pet-friendly, historical park built in the 19th century. There are 3,000 trees to weave around on the pathways. As well as places to walk a leashed pup, the park also has childrens' attractions like farm animals, birds, a little train, electric cars, amusement rides, swings, and a puppet theater. Parc des Lices Parc des Lices is dog-friendly. This large and open urban park is around 90,000 squared meters and is located in the Lices neighborhood of Toulon. Leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners as you enjoy this urban park with shaded pathways and stone structures. The park is open all day, every day. See Details
Parc à chiens Parc à chiens is a dog park in La Madeleine in France. This beautiful park is just for pups, equipped with a fenced-in area that allows dogs to hang out without the constraints of a leash. There's also a nice green space for dogs to run freely and play fetch. See Details
Beaulieu Park Beaulieu Park is dog-friendly. Leashed pets are permitted to join their owners as you explore the vast green, rustic space full of outdoor activities to enjoy together. The park is known as the most natural parks in Nantes. The park is open every day of the week, 24-hours a day. See Details
Bordeaux les quais de la Garonne Although not officially a dog park, the grassy areas along the river between the Place du Marché and the Water Mirror are great places for walking your dog. Many breeds, large and small, gather off-leash on the lawns. While, officially, off-leash is not allowed there is a general tolerance as long as the dog is socialized and well- behaved. There are plenty of dog waste bag dispensers and water fountains along the way. Another great thing is that you can travel on all public transport (bus, tramway and even boat!) with your dog and free of charge. See Details

There are also wild orchids, magnolias, a natural forest and wildlife who call the park their permanent home. Dog Area at the Jardin Royale Dog Area at the Jardin Royale is pet-friendly. There are two designated dog areas and a station for waste bags provided. The Jardin Royal is a public park in the French city of Toulouse. Created in 1754 and re-landscaped in the English style in the 1860s, it is the oldest park in the city. Vauban Garden Vauban Garden is dog-friendly. It was Created in 1863 by the Parisian architect and gardener, Jean-Pierre Barillet-Deschamps. Nowadays, you and your dog can explore this English-style garden and have a lovely walk around together.
