Camp Dearborn Camp Dearborn is a family-orientated recreational facility, owned and operated by the City of Dearborn. The Camp is located in picturesque Milford, approximately 35 miles northwest of Dearborn City Hall and conveniently located near many of southeastern Michigan's main attractions. Camp Dearborn offers a wide range of amenities for outdoor activity; a half-mile swimming beach, acres of shaded picnic sites, fishing, paddle boat rentals, Mystic Creek Golf Course with mini golf and opportunities for a choice of camping style. For a more private indoor event, the Chalet offers a kitchenette, restrooms, tables and chairs to seat up to 80 people. Camp Dearborn allows pets during the off-season (Sept. 3 - May 23) at all temporary campsites as well as on designated Pet Friendly temporary campsites during our summer season. See Details
Pet Friendly Michigan War Dog Memorial
Michigan War Dog Memorial Originally built in 1946 to commemorate the canine heroes responsible for saving 15,000 lives in World War II, the Michigan War Dog Memorial depicts a bronze German Shepherd atop an archway-shaped granite block. The headstones in front of the monument mark the final resting places of more than 20 Military Working Dogs. Leashed dogs are permitted on the grounds. See Details
Drafting Table Brewing Co. Drafting Table Brewing Co. is pet-friendly. There are numerous taps available that offer a variety of different beers. They welcome dogs to join their owners inside, as long as they are on a leash. The microbrewery is a great hangout area for dogs and their owners. You might even spot the owner's dog, Barley, hanging out at the brewery.
