Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park, home of the world’s largest and deepest freshwater springs, is dog-friendly. You and Fido can check out the 9-mile Nature Trail, leading through southern hardwood forests and maple-cypress habitats. There are a number of other trails in the park as well, including the Cherokee Sink Trail, which leads to an 80-foot-deep sinkhole lake. The entrance fee is $6 and the park is open every day of the week from 8am until sunset.
