Naples Backyard History Museum

Naples Backyard History Museum was birthed in 2007 from the desire to “save history”. Their declaration was to lead the way in defining sustainable solutions to promote Naples unique identity, character and history. The intention was to showcase all of the cultural and heritage areas in both the City and County that gives the community its meaning. The museum offers a unique history display showcasing the connectivity of the Tamiami Trail, Railroads, Calusa, Seminoles and Everglades/Big Cypress. Featuring Everglades artist Dick Jay and photography by Dennis Guyitt.
