Pet Friendly Cross Timbers State Park in Toronto, KS
Dogs are allowed to join their owners at Cross Timbers State Park. This forested flood plain, surrounded by prairies, hills, and woods is a great place to bring Fido to explore the Kansas outback. You may run into a variety of wildlife that call the park their home, including white-tailed deer, wild turkey, quail, squirrel, rabbit, dove, and raccoon. Adjacent to the park is Toronto Lake, perfect for fishing or wandering around on one of the marked trails. Pets must remain on a leash for the duration of their stay and owners must clean up after them if they make a mess. Cross Timbers State Park is open every day of the week from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Pet Friendly Fall River State Park in Toronto, KS
Fall River State Park is pet-friendly. This diverse and picturesque 980-acre park provides lots of different sections, including forested flood plains, blackjack savannahs, and tallgrass prairie.
