The Bergen Line The Bergen Line is dog-friendly. This scenic railroad cuts all the way across Norway, taking in beautiful valleys, mountains and fjords along the way. There’s a special carriage for dogs traveling with their owners, ideal for avoiding stares from cat people. Dogs with a shoulder width less than 40cm ride for free. Larger dogs are charged the price of a child’s ticket, which starts at $100, depending on the date and time of your travel. Adult tickets start at $131 for a single journey. Hurtigruten Terminal Hurtigruten is dog friendly. Based in Norway, travelers who want a taste of Northern Europe along the stunning Norwegian coast for an affordable price can book with Hurtigruten. All Norwegian coastal ships have pet cabins with the exception of MS Nordlys, MS Midnatsol, and MS Kong Harald.
