Tallink Silja Line

Tallink Silja Line Tallink Silja Line is a pet-friendly overnight cruise around the Baltic Sea. The Tallink Silja Line offers pet-friendly cruises from the Swedish capital to three other capital cities in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe: Helsinki, the capital of Finland; Tallinn, the capital of Estonia; and Riga, the capital of Latvia. There are a number of different pet-friendly cabin options on board, including one below the pet recreation area, one with a window, and a cheaper room lower down in the boat. There's a kennel option if all of the pet-friendly cabins are booked. The pet fee is 32 EUR for a round trip cruise. Up to three pets are allowed in each cabin, but dangerous breeds are not allowed on board. Dogs require an EU passport to travel internationally in Europe. This can be acquired from a licensed veterinarian in the EU, who will run a health check and administer rabies shots to applicant animals. Those traveling to Tallinn or Riga do not require any additional documents, although pets going to Finland need to be wormed one to five days before travel. The Settle - Carlisle Railway

The Settle - Carlisle Railway The Settle - Carlisle Railway is a pet-friendly train through the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbrian Fells in the north of England. It's part of the UK rail network, so prices remain affordable for dogs and their owners. There are lots of lovely little stops along the way, which includes the highest train station in the whole country. Trans-Siberian Railway Network

Trans-Siberian Railway Network The Trans-Siberian Railway Network is pet-friendly. Dogs are welcome on board the most famous train journey in the world from the east to west of Russia. Pets must remain inside carriers for the duration of the journey. Carriers shouldn't exceed 180 cm in total and must be stored in the space reserved for hand luggage inside the cabin. Two animals are permitted per passenger, as long as they don’t take up more room than one item of luggage. Relevant vaccination documents must be brought to purchase tickets at the train station. The Bergen Line

The Bergen Line The Bergen Line is dog-friendly. This scenic railroad cuts all the way across Norway, taking in beautiful valleys, mountains and fjords along the way. There’s a special carriage for dogs traveling with their owners, ideal for avoiding stares from cat people. Dogs with a shoulder width less than 40cm ride for free. Larger dogs are charged the price of a child’s ticket, which starts at $100, depending on the date and time of your travel. Adult tickets start at $131 for a single journey. Westerpark Westerpark is a pet-friendly urban park in Amsterdam that has grown over the years to include lots of quirky industrial land previously owned by gas companies. Many locals refer to the park as a cultural playground, with a theater, a cinema, an exhibition space and an events stage to keep people entertained on the large green space. During the forty minute ride, you'll journey from Ravenglass, through the nature reserves of the estuary, and ascend through ancient woodlands toward the foothills of England’s highest mountains, ending in Dalegarth. Leashed dogs are welcome to travel on the railway for a small charge. Chateau du Petit Thouars Fido is welcome to join you as you swirl, sniff, and sip a glass of wine at the Chateau du Petit Thouars. Dogs are allowed unleashed on the estate, except in the cellar, where the wines are vinified and aged in barrel. In the cellar, dogs must be on a leash. Dogs are welcome in the tasting room where they can enjoy a drink of water. A variety of tours and tastings are offered at this Loire Valley vineyard and chateau, varying in price. Chateau du Petit Thouars recommends the Picnic in the Vines Tour and Tasting to dog owners, as it allows them to picnic outside with their pet at a dressed table in the vineyard.
