Mt. Rainier Gondola Leashed dogs can soar above skiers, snowboarders, tall Evergreen trees, and mountain peaks, as they take a ride on the Mt. Rainier Gondola. Friendly dogs are welcome to ride the eight-passenger scenic Gondola during the summer hiking season, typically mid-June through mid-September; however, they are not allowed during the winter. Admission and hours vary seasonally.
