Merrymeeting Dog Park

The Merrymeeting Dog Park In Memory of Jake Horgan is a completely fenced 1.5 acre dog park with separate areas for small dogs and all dogs. Situated along the Androscoggin River Bicycle and Pedestrian Path, the park has beautiful views of the river and is open year round. It is maintained on a daily basis by the Brunswick Parks and Recreation Department groundskeepers. The park includes double-gated entries, benches, Dogipots, and signage. A water feature will be added in summer 2013. Parking is at the end of Water St. The dog park is 800 feet from the parking lot and is next to a public toilet facility.

Quarry Run Dog Park

Quarry Run Dog Park has seven acres of fenced, off-leash play space for dogs and their humans to enjoy. Inside the large fenced area is a smaller fenced area for smaller dogs to play without stress. Outside of the park, there are acres of trails to explore with your leashed dog. Bring your own water and waste bags and be aware that it can get quite muddy after rain.

South End Park

Dogs and their people can romp off-leash on 11 acres in the South End Park located on Lower Washington Street. The park provides poop-and-scoop bags, has a dedicated parking lot, and is open year round. For people not into playing with pups, there's even a walking trail and Bocce ball. Dogs must be under voice control when off-leash.
