West Hollywood Park & Dog Park
West Hollywood Park & Dog Park is the final result of an intensive community design project. This dog-friendly park is split into two sections next to some basketball courts: one for large dogs that covers 7000 sf; and another for smaller dogs that covers 4000 sf. The floor of the park is made of specially formulated K9 artificial turf for dogs that is environmentally safe and doesn't contain rubber infill. This design should keep Fido's paws cool and prevent them being burnt. Both of the dog parks are fenced, gated, have new seat benches, dog water stations, and even have live trees and vines. Although some restrictions may apply on certain holidays, the park is usually open from 6am to 12am. To keep the parks maintained, the large dog park will be closed every Wednesday from 9am to 10am, and the small dog park will be closed every Wednesday from 10am to 11am.
