At over 2.5 acres, this park is fully fenced with separate entrances and areas for small and large dogs. Watering stations, benches, and mutt mitt dispensers are also on site. Dogs should be kept on leashes until they enter the play area, and owners must pick up after their pets. After heavy rainfall, the park may be closed to allow the turf to dry. Steele Indian School Dog Park Located within Steele Indian School Park, Steele Indian School Dog Park is an off-leash dog park where both large and small dogs can enjoy some off-leash playtime. The park offers separate areas for large and small dogs as well as ADA compliant double-gated entrances and pathways and chilled drinking fountains. Pioneer Community Park: Dog Park Large 3 section dog park within the Pioneer Community Park. Pioneer Community Park is an 83 acre park located near the southeast corner of 83rd Ave and Olive Ave in Peoria. The park features many amenities for Peoria residents and their families including baseball fields and multi-purpose fields, a dog park, and a 5-acre urban lake stocked with fish. The park is also home to a large public art installation, "Forge" by Thomas Sayre, which is visible from 83rd Ave. See Details

Features include a large shade structure, human and canine water fountains, and a water feature to control the dust. The park is prone to flooding after rain. Foothills Dog Park This clean, well-maintained dog park is a great place for your pet to play off-leash. Foothills Park, 57th Avenue and Union Hills Drive, has an area located northeast of the softball complex and access is from the Foothills Library parking lot. Two separate areas allow for monthly rotation of use. Signs at the park provide direction as to which side is ‘open.’ Each side provides separate areas for large and small dogs that include: grass, shade, water, and benches. An agility course is available within the east side area. This dog park is closed on Wednesdays for maintenance. See Details
Sahuaro Ranch Park Sahuaro Ranch Park, 63rd Avenue and Mountain View Road, has an off-leash dog area just north of the west parking lot and just south of the softball complex. Dog Park at Desert Vista Park One of the town’s most used amenities is the Off-Leash Recreational Facility, or Dog Park at Desert Vista Park. The Dog Park is a 3-acre fenced facility that allows pet owners the opportunity to let their dogs run free. Dogs must be licensed and have proper vaccinations. The Dog Park is divided into two fenced areas, one for larger dogs and the other for smaller canines. The large / active dog area can be accessed from entrances on either Tower Drive or Desert Vista.
