Godfrey's - Welcome to Dogdom Godfrey's - Welcome to Dogdom is located on a 4-acre ""campus"" which includes a 7-room retail shop, a Canine Learning Center, and 2 dog parks -- one for dogs 30lbs. and under and for dogs over 30lbs. The large area is one acre. Both having running water from April 1 to November 1, wading pools in summer, toys, and a covered area. They are double-gated. Membership required. To request a packet, email playgroups@godfreysdogdom.com. The park requires proof of rabies, bordettla and DHLPP as well as a negative fecal exam within the last year. They also want dogs to be on a heartworm preventative and flea and tick ocontrol of some kind. Titer tests are also acceptable for vaccinations and heartworm. See Details
Awesome Dawgs Dog Park Our dog park is a spacious well manicured and maintained facility that includes a double gated entry, a hiking trail, a 35' steel foot bridge, a maintenance free heavy use area and a permanent steel covered area for shade and relaxation. There is a grooming area with water supply in the gated area. Several waste bag dispensers and disposal areas are located throughout the park. All dogs that enter the park are evaluated and color coded to allow the staff to match play style when forming play packs. All dogs must be appropriately vaccinated to enter. Danielle Ruiz-Murphy Center for Animal Welfare and Dog Park The HSBC's third facility in Berks County, the Danielle Ruiz-Murphy Center for Animal Welfare is a combined free community dog park and multi-acre equine rescue center. There is a trail located around one of the horse pastures for dogs to explore on leash as well as a gated off-leash dog park. One side of the dog park is for small or shy dogs and the other is for large or active dogs. The Ruiz-Murphy Dog Park is open seven days a week during daylight hours and is free to the public.
