This dog park offers two separate exercise areas, each with a double-gated entrance for a safe, controlled off-leash environment for our furry friends under the supervision of their owners. The park also provides ample shaded areas, benches, a water source, and dog cleaning stations. Registration is required. Visitor's passes are available for out of town guests or annual registration is available for frequent users of the park. A certificate of rabies vaccination is required. Lake Meade Dog Park is Suffolk's first dog park and has plenty of room for you and your pup to play. Park amenities include separate fenced areas for small and large dogs, benches, picnic tables, clean up bags, water bowls, and a tree-shaded grassy area. Dog owners must register their dog before using the park by providing proof of current vaccination and paying an annual $10 fee.
