The Barklands at Beckley Creek Park The Barklands of Beckley Creek Park, the first off-leash dog park within The Parklands of Floyds Fork, is open to members of the Louisville Dog Run Association. The bark park is positioned on the northwest corner of the Egg Lawn. You’ll know you’re there when you see the fire hydrants and large bone in the pavement at the entrance. The dog run features three "zones", each one-acre, including one for large dogs, one for smaller dogs, and one that will be “resting” and closed for use. The runs will rotate in order to maintain the turf and signage at the park will help users identify which areas are open. Louisville Dog Run Association members help pay for the maintenance, programming, and overall upkeep of the new amenity and the membership process helps to verify that each dog is up-to-date on shots and safe to play with other pups. Visit the website to learn more about the LRDA and how to apply for annual membership. See Details
