Jack Darling Leash Free Over 3 km of leash free dog space. Includes a sand pit area, hill climbing, with bathrooms for humans and a water source to fill drinking bowls for doggies. The trail areas are for the most part covered with pebbles which is great in the wet spring months and winter thaw. There are some areas that can get muddy but, for the most part, if you strive not to bring home a mud ball - it's doable at this park. Dogs don't have access to the beach or any large body of water (although there is a beach area for humans and leashed pets that is part of the overall park) but there is always someone to play with and it's a good walk for the motivated owner who wants to get some exercise. There is plenty of parking. In the winter months part of the hill is closed for use by tobogganers, but it's fully fenced in so it's not a problem with dog owners. Next to high park this is one of my favorite places to walk my dogs. See Details
Jack Darling Memorial Park Jack Darling Memorial Park is home to one of the largest off-leash dog parks in all of Ontario. Your dog can play in the park, while you hang out in one of the shaded areas. Unfortunately, there's no water provided for pooches, but there are bags for you to clean up after they do their business. The park is usually open every day of the week from 7am to 11pm. Summer hours may differ day by day. See Details
Tower Hill Off-Leash Area The area, a fenced 3/4 hectare site, is located in Ward 4 on Town-owned open space lands south of Tower Hill Road and just west of Yonge Street. It is contained by a 1.5 m tall chain link fence with a separate small dog area and a double-gated entry and exit area. The area is also located on the Town’s trail system to maximize its accessibility and the site will not impact any designated sensitive environmental areas. See Details
Lakeside Park Dogs are allowed at Lakeside Park, a 1.6 acre off-leash area at the waters' edge of Lake Ontario. This popular dog park is great fun for pets and their owners. On hot days, Fido can get themselves a drink from the lake. The park is open every day of the week from 7am to 11pm. See Details
Cornell Community Dog Park Cornell Community Dog Park is a fully-fenced and off-leash dog park in Markham, ON. It offers two separate areas; one for large dogs and one for small. Evening play time is lit by solar-powered flood lights and picnic tables are available for you to relax while keeping an eye on your pup. Be sure to bring your own waste bags and clean up after your dog. See Details
Phyllis Rawlinson Off-Leash Area Phyllis Rawlinson Off-Leash Area is a fenced in 1-hectare site located in Ward 3 within Phyllis Rawlinson Park just north of Leslie Street and 19th Avenue. It is contained by a 1.5m galvanized wired fence with cedar timber posts. The site features a separate small dog area, double gated entrance, an upgraded access path to meet accessibility standards, and onsite parking and bathroom facilities. See Details
