The park also features new benches, water fountains for the dogs, a shade/rain pavilion, waste bag disposal stations, a bulletin board and off-street parking. Blydenburgh Dog Park at Blydenburgh County Park Blydenburgh County Park is a 627 acre park located at the headwaters of the Nissequogue River. The park is richly forested hills and valleys and the centerpiece of the park is a man-made lake, Stump Pond, that was created at the turn of the century. Dogs are allowed, on leash, throughout the park and without leash only within the fenced-in Dog Park. The Dog Park is an entirely fenced in two acre parcel that includes separate areas for small and large dogs. Each area has an open field and a wooded path to meander through with your dog. Each section is double gated for safe and easy access and includes a water spigot/drinking fountain. There is ample parking adjacent to the park. A Green Key pass is required on the weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The park is open year-round from 8:00 AM to sunset. See Details
