The West Milford Dog Park is located in Pequannock Feed and Pet Supply on Marshall Hill Rd in WM. The park is free, but donations will be gladly accepted to help maintain the property. This dog park is just about an acre big and has separate areas and entrances for large and small dogs. Water is available across the parking lot under the big sign that says "Water". There are some agility obstacles including tunnels, a jump, and an A-frame. The fence around the dog park varies between 5 and 6 feet tall (depending on the land) but is secure. The dog park is open during Pequannock Feed store hours only. Rules are posted.

Mt. Olive Dog Park is a nice, well maintained dog park operated by the Mt. Olive Parks department. It is part of Turkey Brook Park which includes lots of soccer, football and baseball fields, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, playgrounds, and walking paths. The dog park is in the back of the park and is fenced, with a separate area for smaller dogs and double gated entry. All dogs must be vaccinated and on leash until in the dog park. There are no toys allowed to prevent dominance. Baggies are available for clean up and there is no water available, so bring your own!

Best part, the lights are on all night so while not technically open I've been there as last as midnight in winter. It's tricky to find. I use Harrington Ave to get there but you can use Sand Road too. Ask for the Department of Public Works or playing fields.

Entire park is near great walking, and is right by the entrance to the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum (please note that pets are not allowed to visit at the museum, however.) Visit the website for all of the rules (such as vaccinations, ID tags, adult supervision, etc.).
