Pet Friendly Fenwick Island State Park
Fenwick Island State Park Fenwick Island State Park in Delaware has a nice, uncrowded, pet-friendly beach during winter. However, dogs are prohibited from May 1st to September 30th. The area offers three miles of ocean beaches and access to the Little Assawoman Bay. Boundary markers for areas open or closed to pets will typically be designated by signs posted at the seaward toe of the dune. See Details

James Farm Ecological Preserve James Farm Ecological Preserve is a pet-friendly attraction in Ocean View, DE. This local ecological preserve is home to hiking trails and a beach on the bay. Viking Golf Small, leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners for a game of mini-golf at pet-friendly Viking Golf on Fenwick Island, DE. While pets are not allowed at the go-kart track or the waterpark on the property, they are welcome on the 19-hole miniature golf course. The course is themed after a battle between Vikings and a two-headed dragon in mythological Scandinavia. Located adjacent to the Murderkill River, this park features a 66-acre millpond that allows visitors to partake in plenty of water-based activities, including kayaking, canoeing and fishing. White Clay Creek State Park Leashed dogs are welcome at White Clay Creek State Park, a pet-friendly destination in Newark, DE. There are over 37 miles of trails in this park that you and Fido can explore. Within the park, many visitors and their dogs take to Chestnut Hill Trail, a moderately challenging multi-use trail that leads hikers through heavily forested areas and open meadows.
