Rancho San Rafael Regional Park Rancho San Rafael Regional Park is a community recreation area in Reno, NV. This dog-friendly park welcomes pups to play off-leash in the large multi-use pasture. Pet Friendly Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is less than a 30-minute drive from the strip in Las Vegas. Leashed pets are allowed on dog-friendly trails. Owners are required to clean up after their dogs. Baggies for waste disposal are available in the campground and at the Scenic Drive fee station. Fido must be leashed at all times in the campground areas, and at other developed facilities such as the visitor center, Willow Springs picnic area and Red Rock overlook. Due to the extreme temperatures in the Canyon, pet owners should never leave their pets unattended inside their vehicles, and you should bring plenty of water for your pet as well. Seven Magic Mountains Seven Magic Mountains is a dog-friendly art exhibit set in the desert of Las Vegas, NV. The artwork is comprised of seven, thirty to thirty-five-foot high, dayglow totems made of painted, locally sourced boulders. Valley of Fire State Park The dog-friendly Valley of Fire State Park is located in the Mojave Desert of Overton, NC, about 50 miles northeast of Las Vegas. The pet-friendly park lies in a basin 4 miles wide by 6 miles long, 15 miles southwest of Overton, Nevada. Its elevation varies between 2,000 and 2,600 feet. You'll see petrified trees dating back more than 2,000 years! Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash of not more than six feet in length. They are not allowed in the Visitor Centers. Located on the lake's eastern shore, this area comprises gently sloping beaches, crystal-clear water, and interesting rock formations. Many people enjoy swimming, scuba diving and generally exploring the water here. Pets are allowed during the off-season from mid-October to mid-April and must be kept on a leash under six feet long.
