The Ashton to Tetonia Trail Dogs are welcome on the Ashton to Tetonia Trail in Ashton, ID. This pet-friendly trail stretches for nearly 30 miles through the classic countryside of Idaho. The trail itself follows the route of a once important railroad, the Oregon Short Line, that used to connect isolated communities and transport livestock. Nowadays, it's frequented by bikers and hikers who are looking to explore the farmland in this pretty rural area. The Mesa Nature Trail starts at the upper parking lot of the Mesa Falls Visitor Center and leashed dogs are welcome.
