Situated between Bozeman and Big Sky, the trail starts by leading hikers through steep dense forest and gradually into open land with an abundance of wildflowers. Pause at Hell Roaring Creek and admire a distant snow capped peak before continuing across the stream. Hell Roaring Trail attracts hikers, trail runners and horseback riders, and is best traversed between May and October.
