Smugglers' Notch State Park Named for a narrow pass through the Green Mountains, Smugglers' Notch State Park provides incredible views along a variety of dog-friendly trails in Stowe, VT. Ponds, streams and waterfalls can be found throughout the park. Campground facilities provide a place to rest and relax surrounded by breathtaking natural vistas. Historic structures dot the park and a provide a sense of times past. Leashed dogs are permitted throughout the park. The park is open mid-May through mid-October. See Details

Kingdom Trails Lyndonville, VT's Kingdom Trails are pet friendly. KTA offers more than 100 miles of quality non-motorized, multi-use, all four seasons, and all level of ability trails. West River Trail The West River Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Townshend! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the West River Trail. East Woods Natural Area East Woods Natural Area is a relatively undisturbed, 40-acre, mixed hardwood and conifer forest in South Burlington, VT. You and your leashed pooch to explore a 1-mile hilly loop trail. The Potash Brook runs through the middle of East Woods and the sunlit openings in the canopy allow for the regeneration of plant growth on the forest floor, which makes a pleasant surrounding for Fido to explore by your side. East Woods Natural Area can be accessed every day of the week from dawn until dusk. See Details
Niquette Bay State Park Trail The Niquette Bay State Park Trail is a pet-friendly path in Colchester, VT. This 3.2 mile-trail is accessible to most levels of canine and human hiker. Pinnacle Meadows Trail Pinnacle Meadows Trail is pet-friendly. This beautiful trail offers easier access to Stowe Pinnacle than other pathways. The best time to visit is during fall, where you'll be treated to a beautiful natural display as the trees turn a variety of colors. Bennington Battle Monument Bennington Battle Monument is pet-friendly. Standing over 306ft tall, the monument was completed and dedicated in 1891 and constructed from blue-grey magnesian limestone. Commemorating the Battle of Bennington in the Revolutionary War, the trails and grounds surrounding the monument welcome leashed dogs to explore with their owners. The Mile-Around Woods The Mile-Around Woods is a pet-friendly conservation area that's open to the public in Bennington, VT. Bring Fido for a stroll on one of the many walking trails that go through open fields, wooded areas, and in the small valley along Paran Creek.
