The centerpiece of the park is the historic Mount Airy Mansion, which is the only area of the park that isn't pet friendly. This property is located near the Naval Academy and along an active shooting range, so be sure to be alert on your walk! The park is closed during active training so check the social media pages for the Naval Academy before planning your trip. The 3-mile walking path is flat and a mixture of sand and stone.
