Reid State Park Reid State Park is a dog-friendly area in Georgetown, ME. This popular park has beautiful white sandy beaches, but Fido is only permitted on State Park beaches in Maine from October 1st to March 31st. When you visit Griffith Head in the park, you'll discover a rocky headland that overlooks the rest of the park and a number of seascapes. There are lighthouses in the area as well, including on Sequin Island and Hendricks Head.
