Telegraph Peak via Manker Flat and Baldy Notch trails is a very difficult, though dog-friendly, 11.4-mile hike in Lytle Creek, CA. This trail is located within Angeles National Forest and will take about 8 hours to complete with Fido. This trail loop has everything you can ask for in magnificent scenery including forests, streams, waterfalls, and mountains. The trail is at a high altitude and is steep and rocky, therefore it should only be attempted by pets and owners that are used to such terrain. Dogs must be leashed.

Ontario Peak Trail
Ontario Peak Trail is an extremely difficult, though dog-friendly, 14.5-mile hike in Lytle Creek, CA. This trail is located within the Angeles National Forest and will take about 7 hours to complete with Fido. Although Icehouse Canyon is a heavily trafficked area, the trail is so difficult once you get on your way you will be surrounded by other outdoor lovers. The Canyon is popular for its easy access to beautiful streams, ruins, and forests. The trail is primarily used for hiking, running, snowshoeing, and backpacking and is best used from May until November.
