National Arboretum Canberra Leashed pets are welcome to join you as you explore the National Arboretum in Canberra. Enjoy the 446 acres of gardens with your canine companion. Dogs are not allowed on tram tours of the arboretum but you can drive through the grounds or walk with your pet. See Details
Otari-Wilton's Bush Otari-Wilton's Bush is New Zealand's most significant native botanic gardens and Wellington's largest area of original native forest. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is free to enter. This website aims to provide you with all the information you need to appreciate this natural resource to its fullest. Otari-Wilton's Bush is only 5 kilometers from downtown Wellington. You can easily get there by car, bus, bicycle or on foot. Within the reserve, only foot traffic, wheel chairs and prams are allowed. Te Puna Quarry Park Dogs are allowed to visit the park, but they must be kept on a lead at all times and owners should be prepared to remove any doggy doos. The circular track takes about 45 minutes to walk, but if you like exploring you could spend twice as long and still not see it all. See Details
Bungarribee Park Bungarribee Park is pet-friendly. Located on 200-hectares of land featuring wide-open scenic space and two sealed tracks, the Heart Crossing Loop and the Bungaribee Trail. The Warrigal Dog Run, playground with climbing tower, slides, a flying fox, swings and water play equipment are also found in the park. Dogs are welcome to wander off-leash, as long as they are under voice control and don't disturb other park users and wildlife. See Details
Knocklofty Reserve Beautiful natural park 5 minutes from the city. Many trails and areas that are off lead and some areas are on lead. A good a very friendly dog community walk here daily. Dog poop bags dispensers and bins are found at the entry points. See Details
The Tan Track Leashed dogs are allowed to trek along The Tan Track loop in Sherbrooke. Dogs are also allowed anywhere inside the Mt. Dandenong Arboretum. However, dogs are not allowed in any other part of the Dandenong Ranges National Park. The Tan Track is an easy, 1.6 mile (2.7 kilometers), walk. It takes roughly 40 minutes to explore. The walk can be done in either direction, and features clear signage. See Details
In the Dog Mountain Bike Trail In the Dog Mountain Bike Trail is pet-friendly. Flowing single trail with a few surprises. The track has been modified to allow travel in both directions. In The Dog has a number of technical features including small rocky sections. Some of the trail is difficult, so only experienced riders should attempt certain sections. See Details
