Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site is a dog-friendly park in Caledonia, NS. Leashed dogs are welcome to join you on one of the many hiking trails. There are easy and moderate loops that offer great views of the water and forest, or you can try one of the in-and-out trails. The Mersey Meadow, Hemlocks and Hardwoods, and Gold Mines trails are self-guided and the informative panels throughout provide details about the natural and cultural resources the park protects. Cabot Beach Provincial Park The largest park in Western Prince Edward Island, Cabot Beach Provincial Park is dog-friendly! Cabot Beach features a large day-use area and supervised swimming on the scenic Malpeque Bay. Leashed dogs are allowed to explore the property and the beach as long as their humans clean up after them. Cabot Beach Provincial Park is open daily from 8am to 11pm. See Details
Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge is a dog-friendly bridge within a 617-acre forest in North Vancouver, BC. Fearless Fido is welcome to join you as you cross the narrow suspension bridge 50 meters above the forest floor. Be aware that when several people are on the bridge at the same time, it will be prone to swaying! Once you brave the crossing, you will be rewarded with three trails to choose from- one takes you to a swimming area, another to Twin Falls, and the last option brings you to Rice Lake. See Details
Signal Hill National Historic Site Signal Hill National Historic Site is pet-friendly. This St. John's landmark is a great place for a hike with your pooch. The highlight of this great overlook on the coast is a bronze statue of a Newfoundland next to a Labrador, commemorating the breeds’ first home. Take your best friend for a hike along Sarsaparilla, Violet, Surette, Fougere and Savoyane Trails which lead you along a 3.9 mile moderately trafficked loop. Dundas Valley Conservation Area Dundas Valley Conservation Area in Hamilton, ON is dog-friendly. Located on the Niagara Escarpment, this 40-kilometre trail system provides a connection to the Bruce Trail. One of Canada’s most enchanting places, the world-famous Cabot Trail winds through this giant national park. On the trail and beyond, you'll notice forested river canyons carved into the ancient plateau, surrounded by cliffs. Keep your eyes open for moose and bald eagles. Parc de la Chute-Montmorency Montmorency Falls, a stunning 272 feet waterfall, is pet-friendly. Located just 15 minutes away from Old Quebec, there are a number of ways to view the falls for every age and ability, including a paved walking trail with a viewing platform and a suspension bridge. Dogs are allowed in authorized areas and must be on a leash that is at least 3 meters long at all times. Dog-owners must pick up after pets. Dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior or who are otherwise disturbing other visitors may be asked to leave. Although access to the park is free, parking fees do vary. Montmorency Falls can be accessed Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday to Sunday from 9am to 6pm. See Details
Pacific Spirit Regional Park Pacific Spirit Regional Park is pet-friendly. This popular park attracts walkers, runners and joggers of all levels to enjoy the 30 miles of trails. Dogs on leash are allowed on the trails, except for beaches or locations where a sign is posted. There is also an off-leash area in this park. Along with open space, Dawson Park offers paved and gravel paths, and partial lighting. When it snows, hard surface trails will be cleared. The area is not fenced.
