Pet Friendly Northlake Nature Center
Northlake Nature Center Northlake Nature Center is a dog-friendly park in Mandeville, LA. Leashed dogs are welcome to join you on trails that lead through forested and swampy areas. There are three trails with scenic spots along the way: Eagle Trail Loop, North Loop, and South Loop. Trails range from .75 to 1.75 miles long. Pet Friendly Chicot State Park
Chicot State Park Dogs are welcome at Chicot State Park, a 6,400-acre pet-friendly recreation area in Ville Platte, LA. Visitors can explore this vast park on a hike across the 20-mile trail which leads to primitive campsites, through woodlands, and to overlooks of Chicot Lake. You can bring Fido with you to the trail on a leash under six feet, as long as you clean up any mess that they leave behind. See Details

Kerry Stamey / Comite Bike Trail Bring your leashed dog and venture down the Comite River Bike Trail, a 5-mile scenic route which runs along the banks of the Comite River and Cypress Bayou in Baton Rouge, LA. John Slidell Park John Slidell Park is a beautiful dog-friendly open area to walk Fido in Slidell, LA. The park has a 1.5 mile paved trail which is shaded. There are also ball fields and a picnic pavilion. Dogs must be leashed at John Slidell Park and are not permitted in the playground. See Details
Mandalay Refuge Nature Trail Mandalay Nature Trail is dog-friendly. Bring your leashed dog to explore the Refuges's waterways and wetlands, bordered by an upland oak-cypress-gum ridge, which provides an opportunity to view a wide array of wildlife. The Mandalay Refuge Nature trail is a good place to see and hear songbirds and perhaps catch a glimpse of a gator. Visitors to the Refuge enjoy fishing the canals and trenasses. This 3/4 mile long out and back nature trail will take you through various habitats to a boardwalk over wetlands and a wetland overlook. Access to trail is located at the end of a gravel service road, .7 miles west of the Refuge field office on the south side of Bayou Black Drive (Hwy 182) See Details

Tickfaw State Park Dogs can join their owners at Tickfaw State Park, a pet-friendly attraction in Springfield, LA. The park is a diverse mixture of cypress and tupelo swamp, hardwood and pine forest, all on the banks of the Tickfaw River. You and Fido can explore the interesting topographical sights on the trails, including the Gum Cypress Trail, Pine Hardwood Trail, and the River Overlook. Lake Bistineau State Park Lake Bistineau State Park in Doyline, LA is dog friendly and offers great views of the Bayou and the surrounding area.
