The trail extends 1.9 miles one-way from the Sugarlands Visitor Center to the outskirts of the city. Hikers will see beautiful views of the Little Pigeon River and come across foundations and chimneys of several old homesites along the way.

Seven Islands State Birding Park
Dogs are welcome at Seven Islands State Birding Park in Kodak, TN, where there are a number of pet-friendly trails for you and Fido to enjoy. There are 190 species of bird that call the 416 acres of land adjacent to French Broad River their home. Dogs must be leashed at all times, including in the parking area. Located on the Falling Water River, this day use park is home to four waterfalls that cascade down from over 250 feet in elevation.
