Gatlinburg Trail The Gatlinburg Trail is one of only two pet-friendly trails in the Great Smoky Mountains near Gatlinburg, TN. The trail extends 1.9 miles one-way from the Sugarlands Visitor Center to the outskirts of the city. Hikers will see beautiful views of the Little Pigeon River and come across foundations and chimneys of several old homesites along the way. See Details
Pet Friendly Seven Islands State Birding Park
Seven Islands State Birding Park Dogs are welcome at Seven Islands State Birding Park in Kodak, TN, where there are a number of pet-friendly trails for you and Fido to enjoy. There are 190 species of bird that call the 416 acres of land adjacent to French Broad River their home. Dogs must be leashed at all times, including in the parking area. Dog and their owners are asked to stay on designated trails to protect ground-nesting birds and wildlife in the fields and woods on the property. See Details
Burgess Falls Burgess Falls in Sparta, TN is home to some great dog-friendly trails. Located on the Falling Water River, this day use park is home to four waterfalls that cascade down from over 250 feet in elevation. Dogs are welcome on the trails on a leash, as long as all mess is cleaned up after them. Foxfire Mountain Adventure Park Foxfire Mountain Adventure Park is a tourist attraction in Sevierville, TN, which includes dog-friendly areas.
