Doggie Street Festival and Other Upcoming November Events

Posted by Billy Francis

Thanksgiving isn’t the only gathering Fido can celebrate this November. He’s invited to have fun at fall festivals, hang out with a huge pack of Goldens on the beach, and dress to the nines at a glitzy ball during November’s best pet-friendly events.

Pet-a-Palooza -The Day Of The Dog returns to Scottsdale this November. Four-legged attendees can try samples from more than 65 pet exhibitors and take part in a variety of fun activities at this two-day event. Sign up for yoga with puppies and experience mindfulness with your mutt. For people and pups who prefer a faster pace, there are the hotly contested Chihuahua, Wiener or Corgi races, and the fastest dog competition for canines of all shapes and sizes. After Fido crosses the finish line, he can splash down in the pools at the cooling stations, snag prizes for a winning photograph at the selfie wall, and fill up for free at the dog omelet bar.

Pet-a-Palooza -The Day Of The Dog Scottsdale will be held from November 12-13. Hotel Valley Ho is within walking distance of the festival, so you won’t have to miss a minute.

Many of the pups taking part in the study will be in attendance, but all pooches are welcome. Soak up the sun and surf off-leash on Jupiter Beach in the morning. Then, join the big group of Goldens for a taco and fajita buffet and beers from local pet-friendly establishments Surf Taco and Tequesta Brewery to benefit the Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid Florida.
