Following the success of Fetch Park in Atlanta, a new location has now opened in Buckhead. Featuring a similar layout to the original, Fetch Park Buckhead welcomes four-legged visitors to enjoy a large green space made from astroturf, an abundance of toys, cooling stations and more. Meanwhile, pup parents can keep cool in shaded seating areas, catch the game on outdoor televisions, and grab coffee or something stronger from the Airstream bar. Fetch Park memberships start at $10 for a day pass, or $30 per month.

Plan to make a weekend of your trip to ATL by staying at the nearby Westin Buckhead Atlanta.

Central Bark in Hagerstown, MD, replaces the previous dog run in Marty Snook Park. Washington County’s latest facility is divided into two separate grassy sections for small and large dogs, both equipped with water fountains. After some off-leash fun, wander with the family to the park’s Marty's Mythical Woods to see the chainsaw-carved sculptures.

Follow up Fido’s walk in the park with a night at the highly rated Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Hagerstown.

Ben and Nicole Miller, a husband-and-wife team from Dayton, OH, held a launch “pawty” for their new pet boutique, Embark Dayton Dog Supply, at the tail end of January. Now open to the public, this cool pet store is stocked with food, treats, supplements, accessories, toys and more. One of the highlights is The Laboratory, where customers are invited to “build a monster” from a carefully sourced selection of dehydrated chews that promote good dental hygiene.

Don’t bark too loudly about it, but The Speakeasy Villa is one of the coolest pet-friendly Airbnbs in Dayton.

Take your Terrier on a date to Olive Pit Brewing, a new 100% female-owned brewery in Lisbon Falls, ME. Named after the owners’ beloved Pittie, Olive Roo, this wholesome brewery donates all spent grain to be used as livestock feed and gives a portion of proceeds to animal rescue organizations each month. Dogs are welcome inside to hang out while their owners sample a full spectrum of beers across 12 taps. Olive Pit Brewing plans to open up a beer garden in the spring to better accommodate four-legged “pawtrons.”

After a brew or two, hang out with your hound at this hip studio on Winter Street.

Wire Road Brewing is southwest Missouri’s newest dog-friendly hangout. In the morning, Battlefield’s first brewery invites visitors to enjoy a cup of Joe brewed with beans from local company, Copper Canyon Coffee Roasters. When it’s 5 o'clock (somewhere) the space transforms into a lively brewery with nine unique beers on tap, a rotating food truck schedule, and events for the local community.
