A park filled with agility obstacles, a full-service bar with a fenced play area, and welcoming patios at some of the hottest watering holes are just a few of the new must-visit attractions for you and Fido this July!

Dogs are invited to Urban Hound Dog Park & Bar, “the happiest place in Lincoln” for furry family members. The 4,500-square-foot facility is a place where you and Fido can unleash and unwind together. The dog park features comfortable artificial turf, water fountains and dog pools, and a separate area designated for small or shy pups. Humans can sip a specialty cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage, take advantage of Urban Hound's complimentary WiFi, and shop for apparel in the merchandise store. The purchase of a day pass or a monthly or annual membership is required, and entry permits two dogs for every human.

After a day of play, refuel at local eatery Carmela’s Bistro and book a restful night’s sleep at Candlewood Suites Lincoln.

The gates are ready to be opened at Oneida Barks & Recreation, a highly-anticipated 22,000-square-foot off-leash dog park equipped with numerous agility obstacles and play structures. Fido can explore one of two separate sections for large and small dogs, each containing a woodchip-filled play area with tunnels, jump hoops, weave poles, ramps and hurdles. Owners can coax their pet over the obstacles or simply watch their pup bound across the park from one of the bone-shaped benches. Dogs can catch their breath under a shady tree, rehydrate at the water fountain, or dart through the grass with new friends.

La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Verona is a short drive from Oneida and conveniently located near the pet-friendly patio of Recovery Sports Grill.

Pull on Fido’s colorful soccer jersey and head to The Purina Club at CITYPARK to support your favorite major league soccer team. The Purina Club offers four dog-friendly spectator boxes positioned at midfield and each one accommodates a group of four humans and two dogs. Each box has a water bowl and four-legged fans receive a Purina gift bag of toys and treats. A pet relief area is available just outside the Purina Club gate, so your canine will barely miss a kick if nature calls. Reservations for The Purina Club can be made by phone or online, and each dog accompanying you to a game (including Fido’s +1) must be registered.

A trip to St. Louis wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the country’s tallest monument, and the Drury Plaza St. Louis Arch is just a stone’s throw away from Gateway Arch National Park.

Packs of excitable pups are ready to descend upon MUTTS Canine Cantina’s newest location in Austin. Awaiting Fido is a 1.6-acre off-leash dog park with an attached bar and grill for their loyal humans. MUTTS Canine Cantina has quite literally raised the bar when it comes to the ultimate dog park experience. The park features separate areas designated for large and small dogs, splash pads, party cabanas, and a dog wash with both automatic and self-wash functions. To top it all off, there’s a choice of drool-worthy treats including beef broth & peanut butter Pupsicles and Doggie Dogs; a tasty bite-sized beef frank. While your pup explores every corner of the park, sip a refreshing frozen “Barkarita” on the covered patio.

Round off your afternoon by visiting the upscale shopping area, The Domain, and dining at the pet-friendly eatery, Velvet Taco. La Quinta by Wyndham Austin NW Lakeline Mall is the perfect place for Fido to put his paws up.

Sip, socialize and play during a visit to Blue Ridge Adventure Dog. This newly-opened dog park and bar offers beer, wine and snacks for humans, and treats and toys for four-legged visitors. There is a large outdoor dog park on the premises with secure fencing, shade structures, bench seating, and a water-filled tub for Fido to submerge in. Small or timid pups can enjoy a separate space exclusively for them. Blue Ridge Adventure Dog welcomes everyone to enjoy the patio, even if you don't have a dog.

Within walking distance is Blue Ridge Cottage, where Fido can cuddle up in front of the fireplace, sprawl out on the deck, or run laps around the fenced yard.
