September brings six hotels that are opening their doors to furry guests for the first time. From the Arizona desert to the Idaho mountains, Fido can rest his paws at these newly pet-friendly accommodations across America this month.

Rise Uptown Hotel

Hip hounds looking for a seat at the cool kids’ table will love Rise Uptown Hotel, a boutique utopia in the heart of Phoenix. Contemporary rooms feature hard surface floors, writing desks, mini refrigerators, vintage record players, and private balconies or terraces. Play foosball in the fire pit lounge, take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool and relax with a cocktail in hand at the rooftop bar. Complimentary amenities include WiFi access, in-room bottled water and a house-made popsicle at check-in.

Fido can lap up a bowl of cold water on the dog-friendly patio at Windsor, located three blocks from the hotel.

Rise Uptown Hotel welcomes two dogs of any size for no additional fee.

GLo Best Western Dawley Farms In Sioux Falls

Nestled on the outskirts of downtown Sioux Falls, GLo Best Western Dawley Farms in Sioux Falls provides modern dog-friendly accommodations in a suburban setting. Settle into cozy rooms equipped with wood laminate flooring, sitting areas, window work desks and mini refrigerators. Fuel up each morning with a free hot breakfast, work out in the 24/7 fitness center, swim laps in the heated indoor pool and grab snacks from the lobby market.

The nearby Dog Park at Spencer Park is the perfect spot for pups to play off leash. It offers separate sections for large and small dogs, water fountains and benches.

GLo Best Western Dawley Farms In Sioux Falls accepts a maximum of two dogs up to 80 lbs for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night.

Furry travelers passing through the Wolverine State will find a comfy urban escape at Home2 Suites by Hilton Kalamazoo Downtown. Spacious apartment-style suites include sofa bed living areas, work desks, dining tables, and kitchens with full-sized refrigerators and dishwashers. Guests can take advantage of excellent amenities such as a free hot breakfast, on-site gym, indoor swimming pool and fire pit patio.

Less than a mile away, Brewery Outre serves a variety of craft brews on its dog-friendly outdoor patio.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Kalamazoo Downtown welcomes two pets up to 75 lbs for an additional fee of $50 per pet (for stays of 1 to 4 nights) and $75 per pet (for longer stays).

Four-legged guests will experience the natural wonders of the Catskills Mountains by booking a stay at Union and Post. This rural getaway features country-themed rooms and suites outfitted with hardwood floors, separate seating areas, high-definition smart TVs and private bathrooms with rainfall showers. Savor delicious American cuisine at the on-site restaurant or dine in by ordering room service. Parking and WiFi are free of charge.

Head down the road to Higher Grounds Coffee Co. for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Pups are welcome at outdoor tables.

Located 30 miles from downtown Boston, Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston Marlborough gives visiting canines a convenient basecamp to explore Beantown. Less than an hour drive from Yellowstone National Park, River Lodge provides furry outdoor enthusiasts with warm, inviting accommodations in a rustic setting. Rooms and cabins are equipped with air conditioning, high-speed internet, coffee makers, flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms. Guests can utilize the on-site fire pit picnic area with barbecue grills. Nearby activities include fly fishing, snowmobiling and horseback riding.

Stroll across the street to the Last Chance Bar & Grill to enjoy a hearty meal on the dog-friendly patio.

River Lodge accepts a maximum of two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $35 per stay.
