Shelter Dog Behavior Assessments

The aim of this event is to teach shelter staff and volunteers how to conduct behavior assessments with shelter dogs to provide them with more information to help with decisions related to their progress and any necessary behavior modification. The event will be hosted/presented by Kellie snider, MS and Karen Reese, ACDBC. For those who work in the animal welfare industry, 10 Texas ACO CEUs are approved, 10 IAABC CEUs are approved! (5.5 Lecture, 3.5 Hands On), and CCPDT CEUs are approved (6 Trainer, 4 Behavior Consultant). The event will take place on February 9 and 10 at the Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center at 2400 Lone Star Drive in Dallas. The event will start at 9 a.m. with each day lasting roughly 5-6 hours.
