Cause for Paws Doggie Dash

Join us for the 21st Annual Cause for Paws Doggie Dash on Saturday, September 11 • 7:30 a.m. to Noon! A fun Family event with dogs! 4K Run and 3K Walk 4K run starts at 8:30 a.m. • 3K walk starts at 8:45 a.m. The fun begins and ends at the shelter and the run is a Bolder Boulder qualifying race! Participants can walk or run with up to two dogs on leashes. Raise Pledges to Support the Homeless Animals Participants are encouraged to raise critical funds needed to help homeless, abandoned and abused shelter animals by soliciting donations from families and friends. Up for a little friendly competition? Have friends and family join as a team to train and raise funds together. Winners enjoy a special catered breakfast onsite at A Cause for Paws! Click here for more info on our team challenge. Costume Contest Our popular Costume Contest is back again this year, and the theme is Furry Tails! The run and walk will be so much more fun when you’re all decked out as your favorite fairy tale character. C’mon Cinderellas, Cinderfellas and Cindermutts. Also, kids will enjoy an enchanted bouncy castle. Delicious Pancake Breakfast After your walk/run enjoy a full pancake breakfast — pancakes hot off the griddle, bagels and cream cheese, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice, and more. It’s one of the best parts of the morning! And NEW THIS YEAR — Breakfast Burritos from The Egg & I! Pet Expo More than 20 local businesses will set up booths for the Pet Fair! Attendees will learn about local pet supplies and services, talk with veterinarians and be a part of fun giveaways and games! Concert Come out and enjoy some great live music, band TBA. Agility Fun Trials and Demonstrations Dogs experienced in agility can participate in our timed agility “fun trials,” and newcomers to the sport can try out some of our agility equipment on the lawn.
