    Spooky Pooch Parade

    Mark your calendars for Spooky Pooch Parade! This dog friendly event will be held from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM on October 15, 2022 at Madison Park in Lakewood, OH, US.     Description

    This October marks the 15th year of the Spooky Pooch Parade, a “barktober” tradition for many dog owners. You and your pup can strut through the streets of Lakewood for the chance to win awesome awards. The festive fun doesn’t stop there though, as there will be many other activities to entertain the whole family. From kid’s games to dog specific vendors, there’s something to get everyone’s tail wagging.

      Dog-gone Fun!

      People have been planning their Spooky Pooch costumes for months! Friends at the Lakewood Dog Park can't wait to dress up their dogs and themselves for this fun event. We plan the whole afternoon around the parade. There's so much to do. We're getting as many dogs as possible this year. We want to be part of setting the Guinness Book of World Record for most dogs in costume!

      Spooky Pooch is a blast!

      This event was a lot of fun for the humans and the dogs. Everyone was dressed in halloween costumes and some even came as groups. One family had5 or 6 people and 3 dogs in their family and every single one of them including the 3 dogs were dressed like Waldo from the "where's Waldo" picture books. I heard that this year (2011) they are going to try and get into the Guiness book of world records for the largest parade of dogs and humans in costume....I can't wait to go again this year it was so much fun! GREAT FOR THE KIDS!!!
