Health Fair for People & Pets

Asheville Outlets, CarePartners Foundation and Critter Magazine are teaming up to host a Health Fair for People & Pets. The event will include a variety of health-related booths and displays, demonstrations and entertainment. The Health Fair for People & Pets will feature service providers, healthcare agencies, community organizations and other vendors who will provide everything from health-related demonstrations to educational materials on health, fitness and wellness issues. There will be topical information for all ages. Space is limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will feature activities for pets and their families including: educational advice, obedience tips, informational booths and displays, pet adoptions and much more! Dog owners who think their dog should be “in pictures” will love the Critter Magazine Cover Dog Competition that will be held at 1 p.m. Cost to participate is a $25 donation, and the winner will be featured on the cover of Critter Magazine. Several organizations will be available through booths and displays. A portion of the proceeds will benefit and local spay/neuter organizations and rescue transport programs.
