Admission is varied based on registration, starting at $30 and benefits Danbury Animal Welfare Society.

Description
*** NOTE: DUE TO COVID-19, Annual Run for Animals 5K SCHEDULED FOR April 26, 2020, HAS BEEN POSTPONED. NEW DATE TBA. ***
A unique event open to runners and walkers alike. Participants have the opportunity to bring their dog for a competitive run!
The first 300 pre-registered participants receive an event t-shirt. Dogs receive an event bandana.
Healthy snacks and drinks will be provided after the race. Water stations will be available for participants and dogs throughout and after the race.
All proceeds from the event benefit Danbury Animal Welfare Society.
For the safety of your dog, please ensure that your dog is accustomed to and can complete a 5K at race speeds. Please do not compete with your dog if your dog does not regularly run a 5K at race speeds.
