** PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO COVID-19, THE FORD PARADE OF LANTERNS HAS BEEN CANCELED . **
Each year in honor of the Asian New Year, the San Antonio River Walk is home to the Ford Parade of Lanterns where 26-ft-long boats filled with enormous illuminated lanterns floating throughout the downtown section of the River Walk. The pageantry is free to enjoy and held nightly from 6-9 PM, weather permitting.
