Memorial Day - Remembrance Weeekend at Historic Cold Spring Village

Active duty military members and veterans receive free admission to this special Memorial Day event. Leashed dogs are welcome in all outdoor areas but aren't permitted inside buildings. Visitors can participate in the Field of Honor Flags fundraiser, where donations help support homeless veterans, and dedicated flags will be displayed in the Field of Honor. A public reading of the Gettysburg Address by an Abraham Lincoln reenactor will take place, recognizing the origins of Memorial Day, which was first established to honor fallen Union soldiers from the Civil War. Guided walking tours will be available at 12 PM and 2 PM, providing insight into the historical significance of the site.
