Description
Run, Waddlle, Wag 5K/1 mile is a dog friendly event that benefits the South west animal response team. We are part of the Kansas State Animal response team. Our team consists of professionals and volunteers in or interested in the companion animal/livestock industries. We are trained to be able to deploy when there is a disastor of any type in kansas, such as a tornado, fire, or flood. Our main purpose is to find the animals/livestock and give them the veterinary care and shelter needed after the disastor. We have mobile equipment to set up a shelter wherever we need to be. The money raised from this race goes to help fund the needs of the animal response team.
