Solar Eclipse 2024: Military Tribute Leashed dogs are welcome to join you at this family-friendly event celebrating the total solar eclipse. All branches of the Armed Forces will be in attendance for this military tribute. Recruiters will be in attendance to speak with those interested. You can try a virtual reality experience with the Marines or try on a bomb suit with the Air Force. There will also be a Veterans Remembered activity. For the first time in over 800 years Central Indiana is within the path of totality for a solar eclipse. There will be a special program at 2:00 PM, then you're invited to find a nice spot in the park to view the eclipse.
