Fremont Fair

The Fremont Fair is Seattle’s annual kickoff to summer, celebration with over 100,000 guests at the city’s most beloved neighborhood street festival. The weekend features the traditional Fair with nearly 400 artists, craft vendors, food booths and more, and the iconic Fremont Solstice Parade put on by the Fremont Arts Council – all coming together to celebrate the Fremont neighborhood’s “Delibertas Quirkas” (Freedom to be Peculiar) nature. • Please note that on Saturday after the Parade the Fremont Fair is brimming with excited fair-goers. Please make sure your dogs are well mannered and on a leash. It may be best to carry small dogs in the crowds. Don’t forget! On Sunday at 2:30 pm, your pooch can strut his stuff in the annual Dog Parade! • Click on View Website for more info, or visit their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/FremontFair/

AC101 How to Listen when Animals Talk: Learning the Fundamentals

How long have you wanted to talk to animals?! This workshop will help you master the fundamental skills needed to communicate with the animal kingdom. You can use these skills to build a closer relationship with your own animals, connect with wild animals, or even have a more productive appointment with your animal clients if you are an animal professional. • Not sure if YOU can talk to animals? Yes you can, even if you’ve never considered it before. It is part of our primary nature, all it takes is guidance, belief and practice. • There will be a complete breakdown of what animal communication is, how it works and how to do it, several exercises in which you’re guided in connecting with an animal, plenty of student-centered discussion so all your questions are answered. • The class is taught in a safe space where each student is guided at their own pace. Because of the nature of animal communication, every student’s path will be personal, unique and on their own time schedule. • Prerequisites: None! Just a desire to learn and connect with our animal friends.
