Pet Friendly Dog Days at Discovery in Hoover, AL
BringFido to this special event where pets and their people can meet, greet, play, hear live music, shop, eat, make and see art, plus much more - all at Discovery UMC in the Trace Crossings Neighborhood of Hoover. Well-behaved dogs and children are welcome; dogs must be on-leash. There will be activities for pets and people, live music, food trucks, an art show, and a costume contest. Let your pet make a run on the agility course. Exhibitors include all manner of pet-related businesses and there will be opportunities for pet adoptions. In addition, Pastor Mike Skelton, will conduct a Blessing of the Pets ceremony in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and ecology, who expressed his devotion to God through his love for all of God’s creation. There will also be a Silent Auction!

Pet Friendly Annual Huntsville Obedience Training Club Dog Fair in Huntsville, AL
BringFido to this fun event featuring dog-related activities including demonstrations and performances by trained dogs and plenty of opportunities to try sports like Agility and Rally with your own dogs! You can take the Canine Good Citizen test and participate in K-9 Escapades, in classes such as Best Costume, K-9 Celebrity Look-a-Likes, Best Trick, and more. Kids Central blends education and fun by teaching children how to safely approach unknown dogs, then giving them tickets to be used at Kids’ Carnival booths. There is also a special Westminster-style Dog Show for Kids. A microchipping clinic, the opportunity to work with experienced trainers on your dog’s specific issues, and a variety of Vendor and Adoption booths just make the day even better. All activities are free except for a $25 microchipping charge, and a $10/car parking fee charged by the State Park.
