Pet Friendly Wellness Clinic for Veterans’ Pets
Wellness Clinic for Veterans’ Pets Free veterinary wellness care is available on Wednesdays, by appointment only. Clinics are open to dogs and cats belonging to Veterans of any era (up to two pets per visit). No non-military civilians will be accepted. Doga at Pup Plaza Explore the natural bond that exists between you and your canine best friend at this outdoor event! Doga gives you the opportunity to learn from your dog how to be in the present and have fun, while they pick up the calm and focus of your energy. Be sure to pre-register in advance. Napa Humane's Pawsport Napa Humane’s dog-friendly, passport-style wine tasting event is back! Pawsport holders are invited to enjoy unforgettable experiences at acclaimed Napa Valley wineries and tasting rooms, featuring 2-for-1 tastings, food pairings, discounts on bottle purchases, delectable treats for four-legged friends, and more! Mighty Dog Trail Runs Bring Fido to participate in this annual event that welcomes walkers and runners. They offer a 1-mile, 5K or 10K course for you to participate in. All athletes will finish with a medal and bandana for their four-legged companion. See Details
Barks & Brews Beer Festival Enjoy unlimited beer tastings from 20 breweries, shop from local boutique and pet vendors, grab food from amazing local food vendors, dance to live music and enjoy the fun pet costume and talent contests! Dogs can run free in designated unleashed areas that will be divided for appropriately sized dogs. This event is for those 21 years of age and older. See Details
Wags to Riches Dogs are invited to join their owners at this event, featuring a range of activities for two- and four-legged friends. Visitors can participate in games, take their chance at a raffle benefitting The Animal Pad, play with adoptable dogs, and snap a picture at Puppy Picnic Co.'s complimentary photo op area. Pucks & Paws with the San Jose Barracuda Bring Fido with you to watch a hockey game! Be sure to arrive early to anticipate longer entry times as they check in all the pups. Dress Fido up in his favorite costume as there will be a costume contest winner! One dog is permitted per human. See Details
Animals & Our Mental Health Yappy Hour with Bubbles Dog Rescue Fido can join you at this event that's both fun and educational! Order some delicious food and beverages (two item minimum required) and let Fido order some tasty snacks off the dog menu! Then enjoy listening to a talk from a licensed therapist that specializes in animal assisted therapy. They will discuss the connection between pets and the mental health of humans. Adoptable dogs from Bubbles Dog Rescue will also be in attendance. See Details
Goldie Palooza Bring Fido out to this fun event celebrating Golden Retrievers and their families! While this is a festival for Golden Retrievers, all breeds are welcome to join in on the celebration. This event gathers people from all over the country in one spot to spend time together and to celebrate their beloved Goldens. Event activities include AKC dog sports and AKC titles to earn, raffles to win, three prizes to win at the costume contest, special guests, DJ music all day, free courses, rattlesnake avoidance training, Golden Village to visit your favorite local vendors and sponsors and various pop-ups. Paws 4 Pets Walk Bring your pup out for some exercise and help animals in need at the Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. The event will start with a 1.5-mile walk at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park. After your walk, enjoy activities, a vendor village, photos with your pet, contests, music and more! See Details
Sacramento SPCA Doggy Dash Grab your sneakers and Fido's leash to participate in this 2K or 5K course. Immediately following the walk, stay at the Bark in Park festival and enjoy K-9 demonstrations, contests, and over 100 sponsor and vendor booths. If you're not attending the race, a suggested $5 donation to enter the festival area is accepted. See Details
Wiggle Waggle Walk Grab your walking shoes and a leash and take part in this walk around the Rose Bowl to raise funds for thousands of animals. Attendees do not need a dog to join the fun; just a desire to help animals. After the walk, enjoy vendor booths, food trucks and music at the expo. There's also a doggy costume contest! Walk with the Animals Raise the "woof" for their most important fundraising event. Bring Fido and head over to the beautiful Fairmount Park to join in on the fun of the walk and participate in activities, including a pancake breakfast, a dog activity area, a vendor village, pet contests, and a kid's zone.
